In the midst of a great wilderness full of wild beasts such as rhinos, buffalos and elephants we slept beneath thorn bushes, quietly and securely under Gods gracious protection. This morning we discerned the mountains of Jagga more distinctly than ever and about ten o'clock I fancied I saw the summit of one of them covered with a dazzling white cloud which my guide called the white. I saw mere beredi meaning cold it was. Perfectly clear to me however that it could be nothing else but snow.

Kenya is a medium sized East African country hosting 42 tribes of divers culture. It is well known for its wildlife found in the six habitats stretching from the savannahs to the rain forests, glacier peaks to volcanic moorland. Natures unique animals can be found here. This is our unique natural heritage.
