The cheetah and the grey hound have similar shape with black sports and brown hair, the cheetah and grey hound are the unusual cat might almost be an honorary member of the dog family .The cheetah is like a domestic dog only that the is dog kept by man. They are mostly found in plains of Africa and Asia; they are selective to nutrition and prey on gazelles and antelopes.

The cheetah runs at top sped of 115kph, it can count- run giant gazelles up to95kph for 300m,like the other cats it lacks the endurance of distance runners .The young ones are separated from their mother after 20-24 months and sub adults continues there association for a time. Collations of three male can kill can kill a prey as large as Zebra. Female become solitary before giving birth, they give birth to a minimum of four cubs and as many as nine cubs. The female has 10 and sometimes 12 teats .The cubs are born after two-month gestation period.
