See it hear it feel it

Tsavo National park is home to thousands of elephants in Kenya.  In-fact one can see them just by standing at any of the watering holes scattered at  the park. Elephants enjoy rolling in the soil which creates a protective covering and shields them from the strong rays of the African sun. Similar to sun-screen.

They also cool themselves by splashing water on themselves. In Nairobi the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust takes care of baby elephants that have been found abandoned in the wild. The take care of them until they are ready to go back to the wild.
