Fact file 1:
Male warthogs weigh up to 100kg while
female warthogs weigh up to 70kg,there coats are bristles, have
whiskers and long hair but shorter for female whose warts are shorter.
Fact file 2: The warthog has advantage over the other grazers since it can eat the nutritious roots and dried grass. They kneel on their forelegs while they are grazing
The Warthog (Phatochocrus Ethiopicus ) The Warthog belongs to the Pig
family, species include, Bush pig and Giant Forest Pig. They live in woody
thickets places, there diet is basically grass. Warthogs are mostly found
in Africa savannahs and depend on grass. They are active during the day
mostly, they dig by a cardwarks to avoid predators. They are a fat as the
other domestic pig, very sensitive to cold and damp.
