This is an ungainly looking creature that it is surprising to see them jumping with a fair amount of antelope grace. They are larger than and clumsier than impala and both male and females have horns shaped in a similar way as cow's. To make up for their rather unattractive appearance the wildebeest are sociable animals and like the company of other plains game such as zebras and ostriches. |
